CJ Foods in Hungary<\/h3>

Established in 2024 as a member of CJ Foods Europe, CJ Foods Hungary Kft. will operate its Dunavars\u00e1ny plant as CJ Foods' second European production unit, and the first to be realized through a greenfield investment.<\/p>

This new production site is projected to become CJ Foods' largest manufacturing unit in Europe, surpassing the capacities of the German facilities.
Additionally, in the long term it is set to become a regional logistics and sales hub serving Central and Eastern Europe as well as the Balkan markets.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Dunavars\u00e1ny plant<\/h3>

In the first phase of the project, CJ Foods plans to establish a 14,000 m\u00b2 plant equipped with two lines of automated machinery to produce a wide variety of kitchen-ready Mandu dumplings filled with meat and\/or vegetables, and selected Korean-style fried chicken products.<\/p>

The company plans to sell more than 90% of its bibigo branded products in Western European markets, including the UK, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

CJ Foods in Europe <\/h3>

Europe is CJ Foods' fastest-growing market, with skyrocketing sales over the past few years.

CJ Foods\u2019 foray into the European market began in 2018, when it acquired German frozen foods company Mainfrost near Frankfurt, which is now operating as CJ Mainfrost Foods, supplying the largest German retail chains with Mandu dumplings.

Key milestones in European expansion include the establishment of a legal entity in the United Kingdom in 2022 and a French one in 2024.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
